Hi fives to all of our new friends we made last night in Canal Winchester, Ohio. We had a lot of fun last night.
We're home for a lazy Sunday and I plan on drinking lots of coffee, doing a little catch up on work online, and taking it easy.
A new interview we did with Station Static is now online.

We played the Dayton Music Festival last night and had a great time. This was our third year being a part of it. I really enjoyed what I caught of Human Reunion and Andrew and the Pretty Punchers.
I've been writing a ton lately and we've been demoing some new songs. Things are coming together pretty quickly, knock on wood. We're not in a huge rush, but there are some tentative plans coming together to do a split with one of our favorite bands fairly soon. We'll post more when things get a little closer to getting everything locked down.
It's starting to get cold outside in Ohio!

Geesh, I haven't posted in here in a while. After hitting it hard with over six weeks of touring this Summer, we've been home for the last couple of weeks. Thanks to everyone that caught us on the road! The Western U.S. was very good to us as usual. Warped Tour in Cincy was a lot of fun as well. We ended up getting a great slot and had a good turnout. It was great seeing so many friends from all over at one show.
We played an all ages hometown show last night and it was good to get back at it after a couple of weeks off. Setlist: Lovers and Enemies, Truth, I Remember, Don't Fall, Caught up in Chemicals, Needle.
Time for some dinner before tonight's show. Pizza!

Sleeeepy time. We spent all day hanging out with friends around the pool in Tempe, AZ. Happy fathers day to Poppy today!
Last night was great. Let Go, Domo, and Source Victoria all played killer sets. Let Go played a Tom Petty cover, the Stereo's 1994, along with the usual set, great stuff.
We had lunch today at Taco Del Mar, a favorite of ours in the area. We recorded both of our full lengths in the area so we've acquired a good list of favorite spots in the area along with a good amount of solid friends. Tonight we're having In and Out for Dinner and tomorrow we're grabbing some lunch at Green before heading out.
Mmmmmmmmmmm.

I just woke up in one of my favorite cities in Texas, Amarillo. We've always had a great time here and have made some really solid friends in the area. We watched Hot Rod last night and thought it was all aces.
Seriously, thanks so much to everyone that has been coming out to the shows. Last night was a lot of fun. San Antonio was good and rowdy. Everyone out that way was super nice. Houston and Austin were fun as well.
We're heading into New Mexico today into Albuquerque. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's show in Phoenix with our friends Let Go.

I'll post some pics and videos soon. We're in Austin tonight. I'm looking forward to seeing some old friends.

We had a lot of fun in both Springfield, OH and Dayton last night. It was really good to see a lot of old friends at both. Last weekend was a blast down in the Carolinas as well. Three great shows, one fun acoustic instore, and catching up with old friends on the beach equals a solid weekend. The Charleston, SC show at the Dive was super fun.
In addition to the mountain of upcoming tour dates, we've got a ton of projects going on right now that we're trying to stay up on including getting some cool bonus stuff put together for a special edition repressing of our first album Last Night a Rock Band Saved My Life, recording a new song for an upcoming Future Destination comp due out this Summer, and combing through some video footage from the last couple of months to get some webisodes online.
We got some copies of the new Seaweed tribute comp that we're on in the mail recently. Everyone that's on it did a great job. I'm really happy with how our version of "Antilyrical" turned out. It should be available online and select stores soon. We've got it for sale on our table. Pick one up:)
Long day of doctor visits and rock shows. Sleep now.

Schew! I'm wiped out from a long Monday. Kyle and I did an acoustic radio/online stream on Friday. It was fun to play the songs in a little different format than usual. Setlist: Lovers and Enemies, Run Faster, The Last Time, You Run Away, Crash and Burn, Don't Fall.
We played the Relay for Life Cancer benefit at Wright State University on Saturday night. It got really cold out of nowhere that night, but no complaints. They raised over $17,000 for the cause all day. We were honored to be even just a small part of the event.
We're heading down to South Carolina for a short run of shows starting Thursday. I'm ready to hit the beach in Charleston.

The last couple of weeks of shows have been amazing. Seriously, thank you so much! I don't even know where to start because every night was awesome. Here's a quick recap of some of the dates. Madison was a complete blizzard and scary weather, but the show still went off without a hitch and it was good to see some friends out. Kris Roe from the Ataris also played and dedicated a Pollen cover to us. Houghton, MI was nothing short of amazing. We always have a really good time up there and you guys have made it one of our favorite places to play. We spent Easter in Minneapolis with Kyle's family. They are a really great bunch and went out of their way to make Poppy and I feel like we were at home. I got to spend the entire afternoon napping, catching up on Lost, and doing laundry. The Minneapolis show was fun. A lot of Kyle's old buddies came out to see him and show their support. Our buddy Tommy from Small Towns got us a really nice dinner of mock duck earlier in the day and then later showed up to the show with an Easter basket for us. Tommy's a solid dude. I found a Rod/Don't Call Me Brian split 7" in a record store just down the street from where we ate. It's one of the first 50 on green vinyl. I don't think that I even have one for myself, so I bought it. Des Moines was great. I love playing House of Bricks. We've always had a really good sound there. A lot of friends came out and it was a really good show. Omaha was good, and as usual, we raided every record store in town. Lincoln, NE was solid, best show we've done in town. Ottumwa, IA went off. We had only been there once before and it was a last minute weeknight show, so didn't do very well. This time around was amazing. Wall to wall packed with everyone singing along. The venue we played, the Flipside, is a record store that does shows from time to time. They are the nicest people and in it for all the right reasons. We played in Lewisburg, OH on our way home to cap things off. It was good to see some old friends and hang out.
We're playing live on the internet this Thursday April 3rd at 9pm on a show called I-Band Live. We'll be hanging out, answering questions, and playing some songs. You can stream it live at www.myspace.com/IBandLive.

Good morning. I slept so good and long. We're just outside of Minneapolis kicking it with the one and only Kyle Sando's family, nice people up this way. We ate a huge dinner for Easter yesterday and had the night off. I watched last week's Lost and crashed out early.
Thanks to our Madison and Houghton friends for making both shows amazing. Kris Roe from the Ataris played the Madison show. Houghton went off as usual and we had a really good time. Setlist: Needle, Hero Status, Hockey Temper, the Last Time, You Run Away, Lovers and Enemies, Run Faster, Your Own Design, Don't Fall, Truth, Caught up in Chemicals
We're playing the Rock in Maplewood, MN today and Des Moines tomorrow. All the dates are up on the site. Come say hello.

What's up world? I'm home in Dayton drinking some coffee and catching up on some band emails on the computer. Good times. I've been on a huge coffee kick lately, more so than usual. We're pretty pumped about getting back out the road soon. There's a ton of dates up on our page, check them out. I've been geeking out about guitars a lot lately too. I think I mentioned that I picked up a silverburst Gibson Sonex recently. It's mint and plays great. The pickups area little brighter than what I typically like, but I've used it live at one show so far. I also recently had some work done on a Gibson SG that I've had for a while, but never really played because of various reasons. My guitar guy C. Wright helped me trick out to my specs, do some rewiring for a custom dual volume switching, and throw in my pickup of choice in it. I absolutely love the guitar now. It sounds great and plays just like my 74' SG that I've been playing live forever. I'm still pretty fond of the 74' though.
It's so nice outside today. We had a blizzard less than a week ago. Crazy Ohio weather or is the world ending, haha?

Last night in Springfield, Ohio was a lot of fun. Shane and everyone at the After Studio does a great job putting the shows together out that way. We're in Indianapolis tonight. I don't think TSC has ever played in Indy come to think of it. We've done a few shows in the outskirts, but never in the city. It's Poppy's B-day at Midnight tonight. A celebration is in order.

What's up party people?? It's been freezing in Ohio. I've been home a whole bunch the last couple of weeks and trying to get caught up on a bunch of TSC stuff. We've launched a Street Team. Check out the link for more info. I think it's super rad that a lot of you are wanting to help out with it so far. Thanks!
We've played a few shows since I last posted. The Dayton show was kind of a bummer, sadly. It was really good seeing a lot of friends and we played really well, but fights in the crowd, knives being pulled outside, Cops showing up to billyclub the man with knife, and the owner of the club being drunk and screwing with the sound's power all kind of put a damper on the night. It also didn't help that we went on stage at 1:45am, mostly due to a lot of inconsideration throughout the night from the other bands. I love my friends in the bands that played, but it was such a bummer.
I picked up a Silverburst Gibson 82' Sonex on ebay. It's in really good condition, just about mint. I have been wanting one for a while and got it really cheap. The pickups area a little brighter than my Sg, but it's a cool little guitar. I haven't seen too many of them around, but you can pick them up at a decent price.
I gotta go pay the van payment today, hit the post office, drop a pickup off to our guitar guy's place, and then meet up with the boys for practice. Be good!

This weekend was so much fun. Friday's show in Howell, MI had some problems with the power at the venue, but ended up being really solid. We always have a good time up that way. We had a really good dinner together along with our friends Nate and Ron after the show and scheduled an early afternoon photo shoot to get new promos. We took a ton of photos with Ron on Saturday. We'll post some up on the site soon. The drive Saturday was actually a lot of fun, even with the high wends and cold weather. We played Dirty Jacks in Cincinnati that evening and it was one of the funnest shows in Cincy we've ever done. Setlist: Needle, the Last Time, You Run Away, Lovers and Enemies, Truth, Hero Status, Buried in Me, Don't Fall, Caught Up in Chemicals.

Who has two thumbs and got to sleep in today?? This guy:)
We all had dinner together last night and went up to the rehearsal space and played for a bit. It was fun. We played "Hero Status". We haven't played that in a while, so was good knocking the dust off. K-San and I hit the bars for a bit afterwards, but not much was going on in town.
We're in Wilmington, OH tonight at Joe's Java. We haven't been there in a while, should be good times. Everyone there is really nice and the sound is amazing.
Other random things going on lately: I have a beard, it's itchy. Tour dates are coming in for March, we're stoked. The Lost season premiere was good. Two thirds of TSC are way too into Lost. I saw a great local show this week: The Sound for Language and Stone the Mayor Sheriffs. You should check out both of those bands. Do it.

We're heading down to Lexington tonight and South Carolina tomorrow. I'm looking forward to getting back on the road for the first real trip of 08. Bring it!
Me and K-San hit up Pearl last night after practice for Fab Gear, saw some friends, had some drinks, and listened to the Buddha Den spin a lot of cool Dayton bands old and new. Of course, our pal Jay spun some oldies but goodies as well.
I hate that Dayton is such a late town. No one goes out until at least 11:30pm, even on weekday shows. I'm all for the keeping the party going late, but it's always weird when everything starts at 9pm and no one ever shows up until much later. Craziness, I say!

What's up 2008??
I spent New Years eve with some of my favorite people. Things have been getting back to normal and getting way busy again. Our new bassist Kyle moved in from Minneapolis right after the first of the year and we couldn't be happier with how he's been doing at the shows. Springfield, Ohio was super fun. I don't think we had actually ever played in Springfield before and had no idea there was that cool of a scene there. We had a really good time. Dirty Jacks in Cincy was a good time. It was good to finally check out the club after two previous shows falling through. Washington Courthouse was amazing last week. That was probably the funnest show we've done there thus far. We'll be down in South Carolina this weekend for a Future Destination showcase. It'll be good to see some old friends as well as meet a couple of new bands that recently joined the label. Apparently, with the sponsorship they've got on board for the event and the larger venue, it's looking to be a pretty massive thing. It's also Kyle's birthday. I'm pretty sure we're going to get into some chaos after the show.
I took a quick vacation last week to Florida for a few days, Ft. Lauderdale. It was good to get into some warm weather, even if for only 3 days. Ohio is brutally cold right now. I went to see Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, and Against Me. Every band absolutely killed it and put on a great and long show.
What else has been going on?? I saw Cloverfield. JJ Abrahms is pretty much a genius. I could've went for a little less crazy dizzy camera work, but overall it was amazing. I thought I am Legend was decent. I'm so ready for Lost to start though. Wow, this post is crazy long. I guess it makes up for only posting in here like twice in the last forever. I'll write soon, promise. 2008 looks to be a great year.

We played our 5th annual HoliDayton hometown holiday show on Saturday and it was off the hook. Thanks so much to everyone involved. It really speaks volumes about our city to see that much talent and diversity of music on one show and have so many people come out to check it out. I'll have some pictures to post soon. Hold me to it!
Things have been good with the year winding down. We've been home a lot over the Winter thus far, but still playing out and traveling most weekends. Louisville was a lot of fun a couple of weeks back. I had not played down there since a show we did with Hawthorne Heights a couple of years back. We met some really great people this time around, good times!
We did a quick Midwestern run early in December that was the funnest we've had in a while, mostly due to reuniting with friends from other bands that we hadn't seen in a while. We didn't the trip with another band, but every single night of the 4 day run was with a bro band that we had not seen in a while. Night one was with Fairweather Fan, good dudes. Night two was with Sparechange in Akron. These guys are some of the best friends I've made playing music and I had not seen them in over a year. Their set absolutely killed with their new drummer, super fun night. Night three was with Signal Home in NW PA. Awesome show and amazing dudes. Their band and the scene where they are from is everything that is still right about music these days. Night four was in Columbus with Hero Pattern. It had been quite a while since I had seen those dudes, but they still brought the rock.
Hope everyone is gearing up for a great Holiday and new years!

Woohoo, hooray for wireless internet at clubs! We played in Midlothian, IL tonight just outside of Chicago. I had a really good time on stage tonight. We're three days into the current tour and things are starting to gel really well. The vocal harmonies were super locked tonight.
Mokena was a good time on Friday and Howell was as fun as always last night. We've seen a lot of familiar faces. I've been eating way too many cookies and drinking way too much monster, but have avoided fast food for dining most of the tour thus far.
We got an advance of the new Jimmy Eat World album last night and gave it a listen on the drive today. I dig it. Other musical highlights of the day's drive include: the new Foo Fighters, the new Motion City Soundtrack, and Micheal Jackson's Thriller. Speaking of spooky stuff, we're doing a fun Halloween show when we get home from this tour. We're encouraging everyone to come in costume, but it's not requited. Peep this:

Dayton Music Fest was a lot of fun this year. Thanks to everyone that made it out and made our night so memorable. I think I sweated more that night than the entire week before. It's been ninety degrees in Ohio in October, what gives?? Sadly, I didn't get to see a whole lot of other bands throughout the festival, but I ran into a lot of old friends that I haven't seen in quite a while.
We leave for tour in a few days. I'm excited to hit up a few of our favorite places in the Midwest. We've been playing for a couple of months now with our good Brian Whitten playing bass and singing harmonies with me. It sounds great and we've been killing it at the shows. The Color Fred show in Centerville, OH was a lot of fun. Fred played some old Breaking Pangaea stuff and was pretty stoked to be back in Dayton. It was the Color Fred's first official live show with the full band. Newport, KY was a lot of fun. Everyone showed us a great time and it was good seeing our friends in Fairweather Fan. Knoxville, TN was a good time as always. Anytime I can get Ice cream at the venue is a good night in my book. Washington Courthouse was super fun with Walking out Blind. We got to play with those guys again in Mt Vernon. That was a super fun show as well.

We recorded drums and guitars today for a Seaweed cover for an upcoming tribute compilation on Engineer records due out later this year. I'm going to try to knock out vocals by the end of next week if we can get it scheduled in. I'm super happy with how it sounds so far, good tones.
Things have been good, but way busy. We've played some fun regional shows and I want to send out a huge thanks to our good friend Matt Jenkins for filling in on bass guitar with us for all the shows over the last few months. He did a great job and will always feel like a part of our band.
Thanks so much to everyone that's picked up the new album. If you haven't heard it yet, you can stream the ENTIRE album at www.purevolume.com/theStoryChanges.

Wow, I haven't had any down time on this tour to post until now. Let me start by saying that this is the funnest tour I've ever been a part of. Thanks to my band and everyone in involved for making it so. Here's a quick recap of some of the last week. Josh and the crew at the Warehouse did an amazing job as always. Our cd release party was amazing. Thanks to Sound For Language, After the Accident, and Hold For Swank for sharing the bill with us. It was great seeing so many friends in one place. Detroit was a good time, lots of sun and new friends. Houghton was amazing. Thanks so much for everyone up that way for always making us feel at home. Madison and Duluth were both super solid. Madison is an old favorite of ours.
We're in Cedar Falls, IA right now relaxing and catching up with our friend Eric. We're in the Ames/Des Moines area tonight, should be a good show.

Setlist: the Last Time, Lovers and Enemies, Hockey Temper, Another Wall, Needle, Crash and Burn, Don't Fall, On the Outside, You Run Away, Caught Up In Chemicals, Buried In Me
We played a super fun show tonight in Washington Courthouse. It was good to see some familiar faces in the crowd. We're in Dayton tomorrow, Saturday, for a FREE homecoming show. Here's the info:

Finally back to playing some shows after two days off. None of us are down with days off. Too much time to kill, money to spend (without making any) and not being able to rock out. But in our down time we did manage to eat way too much food at CiCI's pizza and all of us got free haircuts thanks to the owner of the Kaos Kulture Skateshop. I picked up a new deck while I was there since I cracked mine while skating in Arizona. We got back to the hotel last night and I took off for this free skatepark down the street and skated for a hour or so while Gee Gee got his nerd on.
Today has been killing time all afternoon, going to the mall, being bored, passing out flyers. Now we are all loaded in for the show but we have hours until the show actually starts so its the waiting game. I think I may take a nap if that's possible. Maybe.....

oh glorious arizona. how i have become to love you. today the temperature was around 90 by noon and it felt great. since ive been finished up with my drum tracks i have been on a little vacation of sorts. I spent a few days at a resort here in tempe, soaking up the sun and doing a bit of swimming and shopping. today i took a super tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West. That was amazing. I have wanted to see one of his houses/buildings for quite some time, so i definitely got to geek out. picked up some sweet sweet items from the gift shop on the way out. nice.
anyways me and gee gee are both done with our tracking on the new record and we are super stoked on it. its sounding heavy. heavy. but its still going to be very catchy and sing along-able as well.
tonight its looking like it going to be (or is at the moment) a nerd party. meaning all of us are in front of computers geeking out. which is pretty common for us.
well we finally play a show this coming thursday and i think we all need it. its been too long without a show. makes us crazy i think. me at least. and im stoked, jamie is playing a solo show right before us and im pretty excited to see that. should be awesome.

Still in Arizona recording all this week. Things are going great, the weather is amazing, and we've been having a great time with friends in the area. Guitars and bass are coming together nicely. Bass is almost done. Today I knocked out guitars to "Stop", "the Way of the Dinosaur", and "Truth". We went swimming yesterday at the apartment on a day off.
THIS is hilarious. They've got a hall of fame, pages of lookalikes, and tips, ahah.

Do the Work!! Today I finished up all of the drums tracks for the new, still yet untitled album. It's sounding so so so good so far. I think this is going to be a very reflective record as to what our musical influences are as a whole. The last track I recorded today was the one song that wasn't totally finished when we came into the studio, but everyone came up with some awesome ideas and it turned out to be an amazing song. It will also be the last track on the record and I think we are really going to make it a big production if you will.
Basically I'm really stoked on this record and can't wait to hear the boys parts laid down on top of everything.
I'm so stoked I'm using correct punctuation (which I never do usually)
Anyways, my vacation starts tomorrow. I think next week our buddy John and I are going to take in a spring training baseball game if he can get off work.
Ok its time to nerd out on some LOST!! See you on the road very very soon!!

We're in Tempe, AZ tracking the new album. We took a production day yesterday and went through the songs a bunch and made some tweaks. Today was a lot of beating on drums and mic placement. We got started with drums later in the day and got two tracks knocked out. Poppy played well and it's sounding pretty amazing. I really like the snare sound he worked out with Jamie.
I'm still feeling a bit under the weather, still chugging water and taking meds.

We played in Roswell, NM today. The show was a lot of fun, thanks to all our new friends in the area. We spent the entire day looking at silly UFO tourist attractions.

Last night in Amarillo was one of the funnest shows of the tour. Huge thanks to our friends Matt and Sarah for putting us up and putting up with us. We have tomorrow off to make the drive into Phoenix. We will be spending the next two weeks recording the new album. Muahaha. I couldn't resist. An ace told me that joke earlier, had to share it. Last night in Lincoln was fun. Old friends, new friends, loud and proud. Nebraska is always fun and laid back. This is our first time ever in Wichita. We've done Lawrence in the past, but never here. Everyone in the club seems awfully nice and it looks to be a good evening. My throat's feeling a little raw, so trying to take it easy. Gee Gee is pretty sick right now, poor guy.
I'm missing Lost tonight. I'm going to have to catch it online tommorrow in Texas on some down time. I also need to peep the new Heroes, missed it as well. Poppy just watched it online and said it was really good.
In actual band news, there's a feature on TSC in the upcoming issue of Substream Music Magazine. It will be available March 25th at all Hot Topic, FYE Music, and Blockbuster video stores among others. Pick it up!

I can't wait to get to Texas and see some sunshine. Nebraska's got a really fun scene. Everyone here is always way down to earth, straight up, and easy going. We've been out this way several times and never had a bad experience. Haha, knocking on wood that I didn't just jinx tonight's show.

I had a great time tonight here in Iowa. I think we played well and the kids that were there really enjoyed our set. The new material is going over very very well. Looking forward to getting into arizona and getting down to tracking this album.
Im also looking forward to getting out of this icy snowy weather and into some warm swimming type weather. hopefully this will be the last of the winter we'll see for awhile.
ok. sleep calls. this friday is my birthday. send lots of presents. thanks.

I'm winding down and getting ready to crash in Ames, IA. Tonight's show was a lot of fun. We had some problems with the crazy weather out this way yesterday, but today was smooth sailing. Friday's show in Dayton was amazing. I don't know what else to say about it except for extending a huge thanks to all the bands and everyone that made it out to support us. Amazing. Connersville, IN was fun as usual as well on Saturday.
Today was a pretty long haul. I watched Talladega Nights for the first time and enjoyed most of it, played a little Zelda on Poppy's Nintendo, and listened to Knapsack. We shot a video for "Kill the Radio" the other day. We're waiting to get the final edit back from the Director, but it looks pretty neat. There was a kitten on set that we named "Radio". He was a scrapper and we took his photo:

Time for bed. Poppy is accross the room and I think he's going to try and beat me to posting. GeeGee is snoring and tearing it up.

I'm in Laguarding airport in NYC stealing wifi from the Presidential club. My flight was over the weight limit so they had to cut a couple people. I volunteered to take a later flight and got a $200 flight voucher. Do the work! It's cold here, freezing to be exact. I can't wait to get back in the van and on the road.

Check out a new interview with www.MeetFred.com. I'm in New York City and it's FREEZING outside. We played a really fun show last night in Brookville, OH. The kids out that way are all aces in our book. Friday night we were in Howell, MI with Minutes Too Far and Crash Romeo. We made a lot of new friends and got to see some old pals as well.

We demoed two new songs last night. I don't have titles for them yet, so made up temporary ones. My favorite is "Riffosaurus". Good jams, good times. Check out a new video interview we just did with www.GetDownDayton.com. It's on the front page, peep it.
Wilmington, OH was fun. It was our first time there. I drank way too much coffee. We did Dayton over the weekend as well. Thanks to everyone that came out. It was a really good lineup of bands and a full house all night.
What else is new? I've seen a lot of movies lately. Rocky Balboa was good. Borat was funny at times. Snakes on a Plane had it's moments. The Illusionist was super good. We're in Michigan on Friday and then Brookville, OH Saturday. I fly up to NYC on Sunday for a week. Do the work son!
There are a ton of new pics up on our myspace site:

Thanks to our friends in Huntington last night for a fun show. The venue was freezing inside. That was the coldest indoor show we've ever done. The irony is that last time we were down that way, we played probably the hottest show we've ever played. Regardless, the Hyamp is always a good time.
We're in Wilmington, OH hanging out and getting ready to sound check. Tonight and tommorrow's Dayton show should be a lot of fun.

Greenville was off the hook last night. Definitely not what I expected from what little I had heard about the club prior. I guess they normally don't do original rock shows very often, but our evening was great. Setlist: Hockey Temper, Another Wall, Needle in a Haystack, Truth, Don't Fall, On the Outside, Not Now(Never Again), Your Own Design, Buried in Me.
I worked on some song arrangements with Poppy for a bit this afternoon. I also watched the Illusionist this evening. I thought it was good and would reccomend it.

Last night in Washington Courthouse, OH was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone that made it out to might favorite show of 07 thus far. Dayton was good on Friday as well. We're in Greenville, OH tonight. Come say hello!

Last night was amazing! This was our 4th year putting on the HoliDayton show and it's gotten bigger and bigger every year. I honestly didn't know how we were going to top last years, but we did. Thank you so much to everyone that made it out. That's the most people I've ever seen in the Nite Owl and it stayed that way for the entire night. Every band and acoustic artist did a great job as well. Have a great Holiday week everyone. We'll see you soon.

Things have been good and swell and busy in Ohio. The new songs are coming together well. I'm not sure when I posted in here last, but all the Midwestern shows over the last few weeks have been a lot of fun. This made me laugh:

greetings from washington court house. we just got done rocking out and currently the last band is playing. looks like its going to be an early night. very nice. I would like to say thanks to everyone involved with the venue we played tonight. (the warehouse) very rad place, awesome sound, and good people running it. make sure you get out and support it if you are in the area.
Im all bummed out. I was bidding on two coats on ebay tonight and while we were playing I got outbid on both of them by one dollar. I need some sort of super computer on stage with me hooked up to the internerd so that these kind of things dont happen ever again. Its getting cold out and poppin' fresh is in need of something to keep me warm.
well the show is just about over so its time to wrap this up and get ready to load the van up.
tomorow we are back in dayton for a very long overdue all ages show. rock over london, rock on chicago, arby's, different is good. (rip. wesley willis)

So it's official and we're very relieved. After getting the results back from my MRI and going back to the specialist, the conclusion is that I don't need surgery and will get off with quite a bit of physical therapy. It turns out that I did have a fracture in the joint of my elbow that they missed from the initial x-rays. Luckily, nothing crazy happened to it while we were on tour.
The Underground fest in Columbus was a good time last night. Bernies is and has always been a total dive. It's been hit or miss for us over the last year or so, which is sad because it used to be one of our favorite places to play. Last night was a lot of fun. Thanks to the good people that put it on and everyone that made it out.
I've been writing a lot more lately and really liking where it's going. We've been tweaking some new stuff that we've been working on for a bit now and it's coming together nicely. With the touring schedule since our album came out, it's been a strange process working out new material. Sometimes we start a song and don't get time to come back to it for a couple of months or so. Sometimes it sucks because you kind of have to pick it up where you left off and try to rekindle what you were originally going for, but sometimes it works well coming in after some time away from it and having a little different perspective. As much as I love touring, I really enjoy when we get a little down time to work on new stuff too.

Peoria and Rockford were all aces. Thanks to all of our friends in the area for the good times. Everyone be sure to check out our friends Island View Drive. They're great dudes that did a stretch of dates with us. The Dayton Music fest was a lot of fun, but things at our particular club were a bit chaotic. Things ran really behind and we closed out the night going on close to and hour and a half later than expected. It definitely hurt the turnout, but we had a lot of fun. My friends Limbeck were in town last night and rocked the Nite Owl. Good times! I go in for and MRI tommorrow to see what needs to be done about my arm to get things back on track. Hopefully no surgery! Wish me luck!

I don't even know where to start with this. Things have been really crazy the last few weeks. We're in Peoria, IL getting some coffee and checking some stuff online before tonight's show. A couple of days before we left, I was in Dayton on a day off and hurt my elbow while skateboarding with Poppy. It swelled up pretty bad and I can no longer extend my right arm any more 3/4 the way straight. After going to the doctor, taking x-rays, getting reffered to an orthopedic specialist, the whole thing has become a giant mystery. The specialist (and the two other in the building that he brought in while baffled and looking for another opinion) couldn't figure it out. I'm scheduled to go back for an MRI scan and depending on outcome, probable surgery when we get home from this tour. I asked two of the specialists their opinion about leaving for tour and both agreed that it wouldn't hurt it anymore as long as I'm careful. The swelling has went down quite a bit, but it still hurts. All in all, however, I'm happy that it worked out to do the tour.
Huge thanks to all of our wonderful friends in Houghton, Howell, Minneapolis, Des Moines, and Chicago for making these shows amazing. I can't explain to you how much your support means to us. We've been having a lot of fun at the shows.
This tour ends with a homecoming show this Saturday in Dayton. We're headlining the showcase at the Foundry as part of the Dayton Music Fest. If you are coming to just our show, you can pay a general admission price of just $5. You can also get a fest pass for $15 that allows you to go to all the particpating venues. This is a great price to see a ton of bands all over.
Our show starts at 9pm, we are playing last.
We will be playing songs off of both releases along with a few new ones.

Village of the Damned is on right now. Good stuff. I finished up season 2 of Lost this week on dvd. Also, very good stuff. We've had some good shows the last couple of weeks up in the Midwest. We're in Dayton tonight with the Plus Ones, Pistolita, the Classic Crime, Royden, and more.

We spent some time in the studio last night with our friend Jeremy putting down some hot traxx. I like the way it's turning out. I'm going back tonight to do some vocals. All of the shows over the last week were fun. Let Go are still are aces. My liver is still recovering from the serious celebrating we did for GeeGee's birthday. The Forecast, Koufax, and the Finals were all great too. To my suprise, my old friend Tony plays drums for the Forecast. I didn't even have a clue he had been playing with them for the last two years or so. Clueless, I say. I bought Lost season two yesterday, but have yet to dive into it. I'll geek out soon enough... ha. Time for a nap.

I'm sleepy and in Cincinnati. We covered "Merchandise" by Fugazi tonight and it was fun. Last night in Huntington was amazing. Neutral Agreement killed it. I had a lot of fun. It was quite possibly one of the hottest shows we've ever done temperature wise. It was roasting in the Hyamp.

Goodness gracious. Im hella tired. I guess I didnt sleep at all on this tour, and its catching up with me today. We've been down south for the last 3 or 4 days and it was so so much more fun than we could have imagined. Great turnouts at every show. Sold lots of merch. Met amazing kids. House boats. 100+ degree venues. Nuts.
Seriously thanks to Blitzkid and everyone with them for bringing us down there and showing us a great time. Those dudes are definitely on our "bro list"
Tonight is the last show of the tour in good old Cincinnati. I hope the air conditioning is back up and running again. I dont think I can sweat any more while playing for fear of melting away to nothing.
Its time for some lunch, then maybe some shoe shopping before hitting the road today. How about some pics to hold you over.....
This is where we woke up at yesterday.

Nascar completely took over Tennesse, but last night's show in Johnson City was amazing. Thanks to everyone that made it out. We're meeting up with our friends in Neutral Agreement and the Apprentice tonight. It looks to be a great show. MJ's bringing cake. TSC likes cake almost as much as we dig on cookies.
