Limited Edition Silk Screened Summer Tour Posters!
Wednesday May 26th, 2010 by: TSC
So stoked on this! Check out the art below for the new silkscreened Summer
2010 tour poster designed by JASON GOAD. These will
be hand numbered, limited edition, and available on all the upcoming
tour dates until we run out.
FUN FACTS: The book in the art is modeled
after the choose your own adventure series books we grew ...up on. The
rocket on the book cover is modeled after a real one named
"Constellation"(from ANALOGIES). Yes, that is part of our boys
Boba Fett and a Spiderman comic in the frame. The toy car pictured is
the Hot Wheels car in production that the artist designed.

Move Forward Video Shoot!
Sunday April 18th, 2010 by: TSC
We are very excited to announce that The Story Changes will be shooting a music video for 'Move Forward' soon in their hometown of Dayton, OH and want to have our fans and friends involved in the filming as well. Put your party pants on, because we will be shooting a live show setting as well as a house party scene, and we need some fun and exciting people on set with us.
If you live in the general Dayton/Columbus/Cincinnati, and are available on Saturday, May 15th, COME ON OUT!
DETAILS:
Everyone will be meeting at the corner of Apple St. and South Patterson Blvd. in Dayton, Ohio at 6:00 PM SHARP! Make sure you are ON TIME, there is a very strict schedule for this video and getting everyone up to the set. Anyone not there on time will NOT be able to get up into the building and participate, the doors lock and we can't be coming up and down all night while still trying to film this video. Punctuality is important! (life lesson from TSC)
There will be Pizzas & Red Bulls provided in exchange for your pretty faces. There will be absolutely NO ALCOHOL permitted during the shoot, we want everyone involved no matter what age, and don't want to see people get in trouble. We were lucky enough to find a space that would let us film and dress the place up, we are very thankful of that fact and ask that you be RESPECTFUL of the building as well.
The director with need your complete attention and cooperation to complete this project, we should only need a few hours of your time, but please leave room in your schedule to stay a little later if absolutely needed.
Dress casual, you will all be involved in a live performance scene as a crowd and as guests at a house party. Feel free to wear colorful clothes for the shoot WITHOUT LOGOS (plain colors, plaid, designs without company names and logos, wear shirts inside out), we need a variety of styles, just don't go all NEON on us now! The more friends the merrier, so please invite your friends and send the event out on Facebook. We thank you a million for your support in our band and are very excited to share this experience with you.
IF YOU ARE ATTENDING, let us know so that we can get in touch and secure you a spot. Either RSVP to the FACEBOOK EVENT or email iamsharkindiestries@gmail.com with the subject "The Story Changes Video Shoot. 50 people will be needed for the music video, the event will close after we have reached that limit.

Home sweet Ohio! Thanks to everyone that battled the weather and caught us on the Never Say Decaf tour over the last couple of weeks. We had a lot of fun and it was great meeting a lot of you! High fives all around. Thanks to our tourmates JT Woodruff and Mark Rose for having us. Good dudes and great music.
After spending the largest chunk of June 09 until now on the road, we're home for the next couple of months doing some scattered shows here and there and working on a lot of new song ideas. We're pretty excited about how the new songs are coming together and have been kicking around a few interesting ways of releasing them.
Keep in touch, let us know where you want to see us play. We still 100% run our myspace, facebook, and twitter all by ourselves and will always write back.
As always, we're not sorry for partyin'.

New unreleased music on Find Your Escape
Monday, November 16th, 2009 by: TSC
Future Destination Records has just released a new compilation album called Find Your Escape. The tracklisting includes our song Move Forward along with a cool previously unreleased live version of Stop that we recorded in Denver, CO earlier this year on tour.
Songs from seventeen other bands are included on the album, a large chunk of whom are good friends of ours. The CD version is only $5 and not only includes free shipping, but they throw in a free download of the album to have while you wait for the CD to arrive. The digital version on it's own is only $2.99! This is a great way to get some unreleased tracks and sample some new bands for cheap.
Check it out at www.FDRshop.com.

Absolute Punk Dot Net review of ANALOGIES
Friday, October 2nd, 2009 by: TSC
Check out a new review of Analogies from AbsolutePunk.net. Click the album cover below to check out the full review and give your user rating and comment.
From the review:
"How is it? Pretty darn good. On their split EP Analogies, both bands worked with producer Jamie Woolford (Punchline, Gin Blossoms) who served as the mixer for the effort and that simple touch makes the disc sound undeniably cohesive. Whereas most splits allow one band the first half of the disc, and the second band the latter, Analogies uses an alternating sequence and it's actually a solid tactic... The disc opens with "Move Forward," an urgent, straightforward rock song with sincere vocals, tons of energy and charisma."
